FAQ's

Errands

Q: What kind of errands do you run?
I can help with prescription pickups, grocery shopping, post office runs, light household tasks, and more. If it's legal, safe, and local — I will do our best to help!

Q: Who are your services for?
Anyone! I especially support elderly residents, busy families, people recovering from illness or surgery, and anyone who just needs a hand.

Q: How does a custom errand work?
Just get in touch with your request, and I will agree a time, plan, and price that suits your needs.

Q: Is there a minimum charge for errands?
Yes — there is a minimum charge of £8 per visit, depending on the type of task and distance involved.

Q: Can I book recurring errands (weekly or monthly)?
Definitely. I offer flexible recurring options, and can even create a custom bundle or loyalty discount for regular bookings.

Bookings & Payments
Q: How do I book a service?
You can contact us via phone, email, or our online form. We will confirm availability, gather some details via our client forms, and get you booked in.

Q: How do I pay?
We accept bank transfer and cash payments.

Q: Do you offer refunds or cancellations?
Cancellations with 48 hours' notice are fully refundable. Cancellations under 48 hours may be charged at 50%, depending on the circumstances.

Q: How do you store my information securely?
All customer and pet information is stored securely, and only used for service delivery. We are GDPR-compliant and take your privacy seriously.

Pets

Q: What types of pets do you care for?
I primarily care for dogs and cats, but we also offer services for small pets. If you have unique pet needs — just ask!

Q: Are you insured and DBS checked?
Yes! I am fully insured (including public liability and pet transport insurance), and DBS checked for your peace of mind.

Q: Do you offer group dog walks?
At the moment, I focus on solo walks to give each dog our full attention — perfect for pets who are older, reactive, or just love a quiet stroll. I may consider group walks in future for well-matched dogs.

Q: Can you walk my dog if I’m not home?
Absolutely. With a secure key holding agreement in place, I can collect your dog and return them safely whether you are home or not.

Q: What’s included in a pet check-in visit?
Check-ins include feeding, fresh water, playtime or cuddles, toileting (for dogs), litter tray changes (for cats), and general wellbeing checks. I will keep you updated with messages or photos.

Q: How far in advance do I need to book?
I recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance — but I will always try to accommodate short notice requests when I can.
